BuildMTB participates in affiliate advertising programs. When you click a retailer link on our site and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. This helps keep the tools free.

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationships here and with a notice near affiliate links throughout the site.

We have affiliate relationships with the following retailers:

• Jenson USA

  BuildMTB is a participant in the Jenson USA affiliate program, operated through the ShareASale / Impact network. Jenson USA links on this site include an affiliate tracking code. Commission rates vary by product category.

• Competitive Cyclist

  BuildMTB participates in the Competitive Cyclist affiliate program through the Impact network. Competitive Cyclist links include affiliate tracking. Competitive Cyclist is a subsidiary of Backcountry.com.

• Backcountry

  BuildMTB participates in the Backcountry affiliate program through the Impact network. Backcountry links include affiliate tracking.

Affiliate links appear in the following places on BuildMTB:

• The Builder — "Buy" buttons next to each part in your build
• The SHRED_LOGIC advisor — "Buy" links suggested after a product recommendation
• Pro Build parts list — retailer links in the build summary
• Anywhere a part card links to an external retailer

Links marked with a rust-colored button or tagged "Jenson", "CC", or "BC" are affiliate links. We do not mark search fallback links differently from exact-match product links — both may generate a commission if a purchase is made.

Affiliate relationships do not influence which parts appear in our catalog, which parts are flagged as compatible, or what SHRED_LOGIC recommends. We include the retailers we do because they reliably stock MTB parts — not because of commission rates. We will never recommend a part that doesn't fit or isn't right for the build just to generate a sale.

If you prefer not to use our affiliate links, you can search for any part directly on the retailer's website. The product name and specs shown in the Builder are always accurate regardless of which link you use.
